Title: Don’t Be A Second Wife To A Man Who Speaks Ill Of His Wife - 2 months ago

Ada was a young, beautiful, and hardworking lady who had just started working in a bank. Every day, she was polite to customers and respectful to everyone. Among her clients was a man named Mr. Chike  a charming, well-spoken businessman who often came around to make deposits and withdrawals.

At first, their conversations were simple. But as weeks passed, Chike started opening up about his “unhappy marriage.”

He would sigh deeply and say things like,

“My wife doesn’t understand me.”

“She’s lazy and ungrateful.”

“I wish I had met someone like you earlier.”

Ada felt sorry for him. He sounded hurt and lonely. Slowly, she started to believe she could be the woman who would “treat him better.”
One evening, he told her,
“I don’t love my wife anymore. I’m only with her because of the kids. If you agree to be mine, I’ll marry you as my second wife  you deserve better than being someone’s side chick.”

It sounded romantic. Ada thought, “At least he’s honest.”

She convinced herself it was true love and agreed to be with him.
Months later, he married her secretly as his second wife. At first, everything was sweet gifts, affection, and attention. But soon, Chike started complaining again. This time, not about his first wife… but about Ada.
He said things like,

“You’ve changed.”

“You don’t make me happy anymore.”

“You’re not like you used to be.”

That was when it hit Ada , the same words he oncce used on his first wife were now directed at her.

One day, during a heated argument, he shouted,

“You’re just like the first one  always stressing me!”

Tears filled her eyes. She finally understood:

A man who can talk badly about his wife to another woman is not honest  he’s just rehearsing what he’ll someday say about you.

Moral of the Story:

Never trust a man who dishonors his wife behind her back. If he can speak evil of the woman he once vowed to love, he will someday do the same to you.

Respect yourself enough not to be the “next victim” of someone else’s story.
