Episode 7

When I went inside our house, I told my mom and sister about the drama that unfolded between our caretaker and Angela, they were so displeased with the whole act, but our caretaker, must always show herself, that's what she's known for.

That particular day was exceptionally different, It was a Sunday, and a rainy day. I normally attend 6am mass on Sunday mornings, so, I had to get up early to prepare for church.

I brushed my teeth, took my bath.(Normally, my neighbors usually queue up to take their bath on Sunday mornings.) We have over 15 families in that compound, both singles and married. So, if you want to bath on Sunday mornings, you have to wake up very early, to avoid having to queue in the line, before you can take your bath.

So, as early as 5am, I had my bath, and put on my beautiful flowery green ball gown to go to church, with my silver high heels. I styled my gelled hair, did a light make up and headed to church.

On getting outside, the whole floor of our compound was filled with mud, I couldn't walk inside that mud, so, I went back to my house, and in my house, they treat us (the girl children,) like princesses, most especially my dad.
