I want to be loved, to be loved genuinely,
not just to be held, but I want to be seen in all the quiet ways that matter.

I want to build, build something real, tangible,
not just with this earthly bricks.

I want a better life, the best I could only imagine.
I know it’s not easy, but I want it to be.
 

I want to write my story,
One that would be worth telling, that I’d be remembered in the tales that put children to sleep, and in the allusion people make to subjects like greatness.

I want to find Purpose,
That kind that speaks so loudly, that silence would nod. My mark on here must be made.
 

More than anything,
I want to be me,
because I’m not yet taken,
not even by myself,
But I’m getting there.
