Death comes to earth in human form going by the name of Joe Black to escourt the soul of Media Tycoon, William Parrish. However, Death strikes a deal with the man to give him more time in exchange for some tutoring in the ways of men. Should his identity be revealed, the deal was off. He meets Susan Parrish, William’s daughter and he becomes smitten by her, fallen so deeply in love with her, death begins to consider not going back or taking her with him.  He soon understands what it means to be human. Death agrees to take William Parrish after his 65th Birthday.

When it was time to go, William asked Death, “Should I be afraid?” 
Death answered him, “Not a man like you”.

How many of us can that be said of us. 
So many people die, afraid of what comes next cause they weren’t prepared. T

hat man, JOE BLACK, sooner or later, we all get to meet him.
