WRITING A COPY - 1 year ago

"Simi, you look different today. What's the 911 (gist)?" Angie eagerly asked her friend.
Ever since Simi has been in the choir, she has been all dressed up in the deeper life style. Today was shocking for everyone as she was all dressed up as one going for a party.

"No 911 ooo, this is the new me, the new Simi who is positioning herself for marriage. I noticed that it's been all about the dressing so I bought this idea to dress this way." Simi explained naively.

Angie couldn't help but laugh out loud because to her, what Simi just said was the dumbest thing she has heard that day.

"Simi dear, positioning yourself for marriage isn't about all this dress out. I am sure this hangout coming up will do you good, so take this." She said, stretching out a flyer to her.

"Please do well to attend the hangout, afterwards we'll all get to know what positioning oneself for marriage means, God bless you my dear friend. Bye" Angie wished with a broad smile.

____________
That above could be considered a sales copy.
In a simple term, a sale copy is words, expression or highlight you share with someone to persuade them to buy a product.

In the above story, the reason Simi needs to attend the hangout was simple -to learn how to position herself for marriage.
Product to be bought here can be considered  to be "marriage" and the price there is being in "attendance" at the hangout.

Sale copies are easy to write, you just need to find your customer's needs, present the need to your customer again but this time attaching a solution you have to offer to that need.

Also know that a person who writes a sales copy is called a copywriter.
