"Who are you?" He asked coldly and several guns racked from different angles in the room. My heart stopped beating for a minute. The room was still dark but my eyes were beginning to get used to it.

"I won't repeat myself." He warned sternly.

"A… Avery, from the club… the new club downtown." I stuttered, my entire body shivering. The man before me was different. Cold. Emotionless. Dangerous. I am doomed.

"What are you doing snooping around and following me… Avery from the club?"  He had a lighter. He lit it and brought it close to my face.

"I was erm… I was looking for you." Even in the dark with the little flame from the lighter dancing in his eyes, I saw a spark.

"Search her!" He commanded and one of the men with him marched forward and began to touch and squeeze my body.

He is holding me with his gaze.

I relax. He is all I want. If he is as dangerous as I feel in my heart, then I have to show him that I am strong enough for him. 

"She's clean." The man who was searching me, said. 

He straightened and held the lighter to his face.
