Unearthing The Ember - 1 year ago

In the depths of my soul, a spark lay dormant,
A flame that once flickered with passion's warm torrent.
But time and tides of life had slowly extinguished its light,
Leaving only embers, a gentle glow in the dark of night.

I searched for the spark, through memories and years,
For the things that once set my heart aflame with tears.
I dug through the ashes of forgotten dreams,
And found the remnants of love, the fragments of themes.

With tender care, I blew on the embers, and stirred,
And slowly, the flames of passion began to unfurl.
The warmth spread through my veins, like life-giving fire,
As I rediscovered the joys, the interests, the heart's desire.

The brushstrokes of art, the rhythm of music's beat,
The words that flowed like rivers, the stories that repeat.
The thrill of adventure, the peace of nature's grace,
The love of learning, the wonder of life's embrace.

With every step, the fire grew, a blaze that shone bright,
Illuminating paths, banishing the dark of night.
I found myself anew, in the flames that I'd rekindled,
A phoenix rising, from the ashes of passions that had dwindled.

Now the ember's glow, is a flame that shines so bold,
A beacon guiding me, to treasures yet untold.
For in rediscovering, the passions of my heart,
I've found the spark that sets my soul apart.
