However, romantic love is actually chemically induced. It is not as deep as we think. But when powerful chemicals( hormones) flood one's system. One can't help it but to feel overwhelmed by the feeling of" love". At the height of it, lovers are capable of great sacrifice, even of their life. However, their courage to Sacrifice their life for each other too is chemically induced. Just like a druggy that finds the courage to jump off a skyscraper.

Real love is compassion karma because when love matures it flowers into compassion. And with compassion love takes on a total different dimension. Ordinary love is conditional, but compassionate love is freely shared. In compassionate love, there is no need for the person to actively give, because his love simply radiates outward. Compassion is passive love... it does not force you to accept and it does not require you to repay or even to reciprocate. The cultivator of these love has accepted himself totally; that there is no more inner antagonism and partitions within his being. He loves because he has no more hate. His ego has dissolved into a reservoir of kindness and gratitude...and like a filled container the excess has over-spilled into the surroundings. Hence, anybody that comes close enough will also get radiated by his love. In  compassionate love there is no concept of selfish intention or personal agenda because the sharing comes from the person's over-spilled inner contentment and happiness. But first, to real love you will have to learn how to forgo your past and forgive others---this is the starting point of love. 😊❤️
