The Tony winner and the Master of None star first met in 2018 and were most recently seen celebrating the release of Erivo’s role in Wicked at the Los Angeles premiere on Nov. 9 and the London premiere on Nov. 18.
The Wicked press tour has generated plenty of scrutiny for Erivo’s co-stars Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater, who went public with their romance in July 2023 after being together on set. The relationship led fans to speculate that Grande cheated on her ex-husband Dalton Gomez 

Both stars has received fair share of public attention and Erivo’s relationship with Waithe has been under some scrutiny too.

Lena shared a post from Cynthia detailing her magical experience filming the adaptation of the Broadway show. 
“This journey has been long, and paved with bright, yellow brick,” Cynthia wrote on Instagram post alongside behind-the-scenes pictures. “We have laughed and cried, held hands and walked side by side, our lives intertwined, and because of that, we were irrevocably changed for good.”
