That Day, I Almost Fought for My Dignity 😭😂

So I entered a bus looking calm and responsible, like someone that has their life together.

I saw one small space and quickly squeezed myself in before someone else would take it. Victory.

Everything was fine… until the conductor came.

He looked at me, looked at the seat, then said loudly,

“Madam, no be complete seat o, you go shift small make another person enter.”

Before I could even process it, one fully grown human being appeared from nowhere and started pressing me like I’m bread in a toaster.

I said, “Ah ah, there’s no space now!”

The conductor replied, “You go manage, na so we dey do am.”

Manage ke??

Next thing, I was sitting 10% on the chair and 90% in the air, questioning all my life decisions.

To make matters worse, the person beside me started sleeping… on my shoulder.

Excuse me?? When did we become family??

I couldn’t move. I couldn’t breathe properly. I just sat there like a confused statue.

At that moment, I realized something…

In this life, you don’t own your space. You borrow it. 😭😂
