Ten years ago, on this very day, a miraculous event unfolded, changing lives forever. Amidst the turmoil of an armed robbery attack on our way back from Kano and a premature labour, a precious gift emerged. Alhamdulillah! A beautiful baby girl named Fatima.

I recall the morning of her birth, filled with scheduled activities, until my body whispered a different plan. A sudden rush to the hospital, a frantic dash to save two lives, and a courageous decision by a medical team led by an erudite Prof. Polite of Monarch Hospital, Kaduna, and i was rushed into an emergency surgery, which was scary, but Alhamdulillah, we both made it. Finally, Fatima was brought into this world.

The memory of that day still lingers as the fear, the tension, and the overwhelming joy when Prof. Polite raised Fatima's tiny hands, asking me to name the sex of our baby. It was a moment of pure bliss, a reunion of souls.

Fatima, named after two incredible mothers(my mum and mother inlaw), has grown into a remarkable young girl, spreading love, pride, and inspiration. Her passion for debate and leadership has earned her the title of Assistant Head Girl at her school. Her presence is a testament to Allah's greatness and mercy.

As Fatima celebrates her tenth birthday, we rejoice in the gift of her life. May her path be filled with joy, knowledge, and success. May she continue to be a blessing to our family and humanity. May Allah grant her a bright future filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
