“How do I look?” he asked me, I stepped into the room completely, and closed the door gently behind me. I wanted to ask if he was going out but I decided to answer his question first.

“You look dashing.” I complimented honestly, walking up to him. “Let me help you with this.” I conveyed before helping him adjust his tie.

“There,” I brushed his shoulders softly and he turned to the mirror again.

“Thanks,” he said with a smile. “You’re in the outfit, it’s perfect. I need to get you more of these, red I suppose, to match your hair.” He teased, taking a handful of my hand sniffing it. “Cinnamon.” He said, referring to the scent and I rolled my eyes.

“I’m dying my hair today.” I informed him and he looked disappointed. He didn’t leave my hair, instead, he closed the space between us and tilted my head a little with his free hand.

“Do you really have to?” he didn’t sound pleased and I was surprised. He thought it was a great idea a few days ago. Why the disappointment now? I wondered.

“I thought you’d be happy about it?” I voiced out.

“I wanted you to try the red outfit, I want to see which will suit you best.” He whispered in my ear, bending down a little, since he was taller. His lips remained on my ear, a little above my neck... brushing my earlobe softly. It left a tingling sensation on my skin. I could still feel the warmth of his breath lingering on my skin even after he lifted his head and I wondered if he did that to add more effect to his words.
