Taking A Leaf From The Elephant - 3 months ago

Animals have always fascinated me. Take the Elephant for example, known for its sheer size, trunk skills and how valuable their tusks are, only a few people also know that it stands apart for its memory.

You see, an elephant can recognize a human face after decades. It can recall the exact location of a water source it visited years ago as a calf.

The elephant remembers patterns: Who helped. Who harmed. Where safety lives. In some parts, elephants are known to gather at particular spots where their comrades died, every year, to mark the Anniversary.

We must strive to have a memory like the elephant, who never forgets a face; an event, wrong, or a good done to it.

We can learn to remember patterns, not excuses. Remember most importantly, sacrifices and warmth.

We must all be like the elephant with a long memory.
