The benefit of this is that it encourages writers to gather data from their readers to understand what works and how they can improve.

Everyone tries to engage with others, knowing that the same will be done for them, which directly impacts how they get paid.

In comparison, on Blogshop, you get paid with or without engagement. So, someone could wake up, create whatever content they want, and not think about the readers. Even a one-liner is worth 5 points, regardless of engagement.

This means that while there may be a lot of content on Blogshop, much of it may lack value. Shouldn’t the focus be on quality?

The leading writing platforms don’t attract large numbers of users because of the sheer quantity of content. They attract them because they offer valuable content that resonates with their audience.

There’s another part of Blogshop that can be used for business. I agree that Blogshop doesn’t have the same number of users as platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram. But why should I choose Blogshop for marketing over these platforms? When you’re onboarding new users, you need to share a link that redirects people to the platform.

Most people don’t like clicking on links. An app would be a better way to encourage people to use Blogshop.

The user interface on Blogshop is lovely and easy to navigate. However, the word limit can be disheartening at times.

Blogshop has the potential to be a leading brand or even a superior platform for Nigerians and Africans. For example, Medium doesn’t allow Nigerians to monetize their content, while Blogshop does.

So, Blogshop has the ability to become the “Opay” of writing platforms, but it will require time and effort to fix certain systems.
