I held her hands like I was never letting go.
We stared for what seemed like eternity, my eyes burning with passion.
Slowly, I said, “Don’t bleed on me, babe… please, don’t bleed on me.”

Tears walled up in her eyes.
She battled to speak, her words of deep emotions:
"You, you are all the same, waiting for when I'm most vulnerable and then you leave. You all leave."
She said, breaking down in tears.

I couldn't stand her crying; it broke my heart more than a thousand stabs would.
I held her tightly. I would constantly remind her how much she means to me if I need to.
"I will never leave you, no matter what. I will love you till the end of time. I'm different, you have to trust me."

I said those words like I truly meant it, like my whole existence was solely bent on loving her. Maybe I genuinely meant those words, or maybe it was my emotions speaking…
Time will tell.
