French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday that France would immediately deploy 85 specialized rescue workers to Venezuela following two devastating earthquakes that claimed lives and caused significant damage.
In a post on X, Macron said France, alongside its European partners, is prepared to assist affected communities based on the needs identified by Venezuelan authorities. He added that the rescue team, trained in search-and-rescue operations and debris removal, would be dispatched without delay to support emergency response efforts.
