Finding Light After A Dark Season - 3 days ago

There are seasons in life that seem to stretch on forever. Days blur into weeks, hope feels distant, and even getting out of bed can feel like an achievement. We often imagine difficult seasons as dramatic moments, a major loss, a public failure, or a heartbreaking goodbye. But sometimes, darkness arrives quietly. It looks like feeling stuck, questioning your purpose, or wondering whether life will ever feel joyful again.

I've learned that healing rarely happens all at once. It comes in small moments: the first genuine laugh after weeks of silence, the text from a friend at just the right time, the sunrise you almost didn't stop to notice, or the realization that today hurt just a little less than yesterday.

Looking back, I can see that those difficult seasons taught me things comfort never could. They revealed who truly stood by me, forced me to slow down, and reminded me that my worth wasn't tied to constant success or happiness.

Finding light doesn't mean pretending the darkness never existed. It means carrying the lessons with you while choosing hope anyway. It means believing that difficult chapters aren't the whole story.

If you're walking through a dark season today, remember this: the fact that you haven't reached brighter days yet doesn't mean they aren't coming. Sometimes the strongest people are simply those who kept moving forward one small step at a time.
