(Tunde walks slowly, checking his wallet. He opens it. Only ₦500 inside.)
TUNDE (muttering):
This is my last money… Transport or food?
(His stomach growls. He looks tired.)

SCENE 2 – EXT. MAMA BISI’S FOOD STALL – DAY
(Students buying food. Delicious smell everywhere.)
MAMA BISI:
Hot rice! Fresh stew!
(Tunde stands, staring at the food. He holds the ₦500 tightly.)
TUNDE (thinking):
If I eat, how will I go home?
(Suddenly, Richard rushes in, looking worried.)
RICHARD:
Ahh! I lost my wallet! My transport money is inside!
(Tunde looks at his ₦500… then at Richard.)
Emotional pause.
TUNDE:
Take this.
RICHARD (shocked):
Are you serious?
TUNDE (smiles weakly):
You need it more.

(Students seated. Lecturer enters.)
LECTURER:
There is a scholarship opportunity. Only students with good character and academic performance will qualify.
(Richard stands up.)
RICHARD:
Sir, I want to recommend someone. Tunde.
(Tunde looks surprised.)
