Permit me to share this here too.

This question had been occupying my mind since Friday. It all happened when a new person was attached to my room.

I've heard also about people affirming that truly they are geniuses, I wasn't sure until I encountered one myself.

It was on Monday morning that I was summoned to the hostel porter's office. She sent for me to inform me officially that another lady had been paired to my room.

It wasn't news to me because I had heard rumors of extra people being added to all the rooms in the hostel.

"All right, ma'am," I said.

Other conversations ensued which didn't last long as I had to inform her that I had to rush back to class.

All through my classes that day, the thought of the new person keeps on visiting my mind now and then. At some point, I just had to advise myself to shut out those thoughts so I could focus.

Titi appeared at the door the next day. With a brief introduction, I realized who she was.
"Oh welcome, Titi." I welcomed.

Make yourself feel comfortable, I said smiling while I helped her get her stuff.

For two days, we only said "good morning and how was your day?" to each other. Omoh, for my mind I don already realize say my introversion is a small thing.

On Friday, I had an accounting assignment to submit. I didn't get something right as the figures were not adding up.
She noticed my frustration and decided to ask. So I told her at first that it was nothing.

On second thought, I decided to up on which she offered to help.
Mehn in a split second was able to detect the missing figure and that was how every figure matched up with the result.

Guys, that wasn't the end. When I submitted the assignment, I was applauded as I was the only one who got the question correctly.

The professor taking the course also confessed that, for two sessions past, I've been the only one who has been able to come out with the right answer.

I must confess also that I looked down on Titi at first. That was the reason I decided at first not to tell her the cause of my frustration.

Titi is extremely quiet and I've equally met a few other quiet people and in one way or the other, they've proven to me how intelligent they are.
