With silver tongues, they speak their lies
Deceitful words, that pierce the skies
Promises broken, hearts betrayed
Truth distorted, facts dismayed

Their rhetoric flows like a poisoned stream
False hopes raised, dreams shattered it seems
They speak with conviction, but deceive with ease
Their words are weapons, used to manipulate and tease

They hide behind masks, of patriotism and pride
But their true intentions, are far from what they hide
They use fear and hate, to control and divide
And leave the people, in a state of confusion and strife

But truth will rise, like a phoenix from the ashes
And their deception, will be revealed in the flashes.
