I was watching Ghost Rider the other day and I came across something interesting. 

Johnny Blaze's father had cancer and had a short time to live. Mephistopheles (The devil) came to Johnny and told him he could restore the dad's health. I'll make him "healthy as a horse" by morning he said.  

Johnny jumped at it, eager to save his dad's life. 

What was the price? His soul! 

He thought it was a joke. He signed with his blood (the Faustian Bargain). 

He thought it was a dream but by morning, true to Mephistopheles's word, the father was healthy as a horse, no trace of cancer but what he didn't know was there were strings attached. 

 By afternoon the father was dead, the devil caused an accident that ended the father and Mephistopheles still claimed Johnny's soul. Johnny was never the same again cause his soul wasn't his. He spent his entire life trying to get it back.

“The devil gives one and takes ten”

He is always prowling, lurking around us looking for an opportunity to present a deal. A deal that looks good but its fruit thereof very bitter. Those who take it never remain the same. 

Like Immortal Technique once said in one of his songs, "When the devil wants to dance with you, you better say never 

cause a dance with the devil will last you forever." 📌
