RYAN furrows his brows but answers anyways, "It was pawned this morning". JOHN looks at the laptop, "KAIRA pawned it?" RYAN looks at the teenager in from of him and was getting confused, "Sorry who?" JOHN raises his head and speaks, "Did a girl bring this here?" RYAN shakes his head, "A man did, and his wife I think". JOHN looks down. That was the answer he was expecting, but it still hurt to hear it. His parents were wicked enough to pawn something that important that didn't even belong to them. A tear falls from his eyes and he wiped it. He was mad. How dare they do that? RYAN stares at JOHN and clears his throat, making JOHN raise his head again. 

  "Anything else", RYAN asked JOHN. As soon as the words left his mouth, he regretted it. It had nothing to do with him, why was he trying to drag himself into it. JOHN nods, "Did you erase everything in it?" he asked hopefully, to which RYAN nods. "I did not too long ago". For the third time that day, JOHN's heart fell. A lot of KAIRA's documents were saved there. "Can I have it now?" RYAN asked motioning to the laptop and JOHN hands it over to him. "Sorry about that", he apologizes. "About what?" A voice behind him asked and he flinched as he turned, then he sighs and closes his eyes. It was KAIRA and she was looking at him with a smile on her face. She knew she got him and she was happy. He had always made it a thing to scare the life out of her. He sighs as he relaxes, "How did you know I was here?" 

   "I didn't", she deadpanned, and RYAN snickers to himself, "I was just passing by and I saw you". JOHN was looking at her with shock written all over his face, "So you weren't even planning to come after me?" KAI folds her arms and looks up at her brother, "What do you think?"
