HE SENT HIS MOTHER ₦10,000 EVERY MONTH… UNTIL ONE DAY, HE STOPPED 😢💔 - Yesterday

Nobody in his neighborhood knew why he worked so hard.

Every morning, before the sun came up, Musa would leave his small room, wear the same old shirt, and walk several kilometers to work.

He wasn't rich.

He wasn't famous.

He didn't have a big house or an expensive car.

But there was one thing he never failed to do.

At the end of every month, he sent ₦10,000 to his mother.

Whenever his friends asked him why, he would simply smile and say:

«“She sacrificed everything for me when I had nothing. The little I can do now is make sure she doesn't suffer because of me.”»

His mother lived in a small village far away.

She had raised Musa alone after his father died when he was still young.

She sold food by the roadside to pay his school fees.

Sometimes, she would go to bed hungry just so Musa could eat.

She always told him:

“My son, I don't need you to become rich. I just want you to become a good man.”

Musa never forgot those words.

Years passed.

Life became harder.

One month, Musa lost his job.

The next month, his rent was due.

His younger sister needed money for school.

His landlord was threatening to throw him out.

And for the first time in years, Musa had almost nothing left.

His friend asked him:

“Are you still going to send your mother the ₦10,000?”

Musa looked at the money in his hand.

It was the last money he had.

He became silent.

Then he smiled and said:

“Yes.”

His friend couldn't understand.

“You don't even have enough to eat!”

Musa replied:

“If my mother could sacrifice her last meal for me when I was growing up, I can sacrifice mine for her today.”

He sent the money.

That night, Musa slept hungry.

The following morning, something unexpected happened.

While walking to look for another job, he received a phone call.

It was his mother.

“Musa…”

Her voice was shaking.

“Did you send me money yesterday?”

“Yes, Mama.”

There was silence.

Then she started crying.

Musa became worried.

“Mama, what's wrong?”

She replied:

“My son, I didn't tell you because I didn't want to worry you. I have been sick for weeks.”

Musa froze.

His heart sank.

His mother continued:

“Yesterday, I had no money to buy my medicine. I prayed to God to help me. A few hours later, your money arrived.”

Musa couldn't speak.

He looked at the empty road in front of him and began to cry.

He realized something:

The money he thought was too small had become a lifeline for someone he loved.

That same day, Musa decided he would do everything possible to find work.

He knocked on doors.

He asked for opportunities.

He was rejected many times.

But he refused to stop.

After several weeks, he finally got a better-paying job.

Months later, Musa was able to take his mother to the city for proper medical treatment.

One evening, his mother looked at him and said:

“You see? I told you that you would become a good man.”

Musa smiled through his tears.

He finally understood that success isn't always about having millions in your bank account.

Sometimes…

Success is being able to give back to the person who gave you everything. ❤️

And sometimes, the smallest amount of money you send someone can mean more than you will ever know.

So if you still have your mother, father, brother, sister, or someone who sacrificed for you…

Don't wait until they are gone before you appreciate them.

Call them.

Check on them.

Send them something, even if it's small.

Because one day, you may have all the money in the world…

but you won't be able to buy one more conversation with them. 💔

If this touched your heart, share it with someone who needs to read it today. ❤️
