The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that a total of 6,232,673 Nigerians completed their online pre-registration for the Continuous Voter Registration between September 22 and 28, 2025.

Of this figure, 3,250,338 were women (52.15 %) and 2,982,335 were men (47.85 %), while youths aged 18–34 accounted for 4,230,715 registrations, showing the strong interest of young Nigerians in the process.
INEC’s analysis revealed that Borno State emerged top with 682,805 pre-registrations, surpassing Osun, which recorded 599,363. The commission also noted that 137,865 persons with disabilities completed the online phase, highlighting progress in inclusivity and accessibility within the voter registration exercise.
