what is progress?

Hiking the tuition fees of federal and state government owned universities then initiate a Student loan program only for students to graduate and be unemployed but then you have loans to pay off?

Is it increasing the minimum wages, then removing fuel subsidy causing increase in fuel price and hike in food prices, now you have to work twice harder to afford basic things you use to afford in comfort?.

Is it heavily guarding government officials and government buildings, While news station broadcast abductions and killings of common Citizens daily?

Or is it national power grid collapsing more times than my late grandma's old bed frame.

Is this progress?

Malcolm x once said 

If you stick a knife on my back 9 inches and pull it out 6 inches, that's not a progress

 if you pull it all the way out, that's still not progress.  Progress is made when the wound caused by knife is healed, but they won't even admit that the knife is there.

We have been so badly injured without being healed and now we see mediocrity as progress.

Same applies for our personal life, heal from that wound, heal from that pain, heal from that hurt.

Then, only then can progress be achievable.
