Dear Omowumi,
It’s been a year and so far, you have grown.You are more at peace, gentler with yourself and most importantly, you have let go of the insecurities that once kept you up at night and made you feel less of yourself.
You smiled a million times this year, tried different daring things, stepped outside your comfort zone and honestly, I admire you for that.
As you celebrate another year today, I wish you nothing but happiness, joy, love, peace and more knowledge.
You may not know it yet, but you are truly one of a kind. I’m glad you are taking the steps even when you don’t have everything figured out.
