CONTINUATION…..
THE JACKPOT
Wale is now in JSS3, and he is preparing extremely to see that he passes his examination without the help of anyone. He also believes that being talented does not mean you should not be hardworking. A boy in his class known as Musa who is also a brilliant boy usually teases him by saying, “did you need to read due to the fact that you are God's gifted one?” He replies by saying, “yes!! Been gifted as you have said does not mean you should not read, and I know if to say you are spending more time to study you will be better than I do and for you to become somebody in the future, you have to be hardworking.”
One day, the principal of the school in person of Mall. Muhammad sent for Wale, Musa and some other three brilliant students in the class. When they reached there, he gave them a warm welcoming and told them that he just received a letter from Cowbell Pedia. They already knew what it means, so he continued by saying, “I want you five to go and spark up to meet up with the requirements which will make you proceed to State level. And have it at the back of your mind that you are not doing this for prize sake but for the betterment of the school, society and most especially your respective futures.” After that, he asked them all to depart to their classes.
When Wale reached home, he informed his mother about the new success. His mother was very happy, and she encouraged him to put more efforts because even to be selected in a class of ten is not an easy thing talk more of class of fifty. She also promised to purchase a bicycle for him if he can perform excellently.
