I look forward to that day when I’ll get to hold that pound baby in my arms.
Hear her cry for the first time.
While her mother rejoices her 9 month visitor has overstayed her welcome and left. (Sweet relief) 💯
I’ll look into her eyes.
My child.
Bone of my bones
Flesh of my flesh
My blood – living
I’ll look up to the heavens and God will say, “Yes, she’s yours, help her find me. I have a plan for her”
In her eyes, I’ll see a second chance at life
A chance to groom a mini-me into what I could have been and more.
She’ll be a force to reckon with, she’s my child.
I’ll call her Jemimah - she’ll be the fairest and loveliest of them all.
Maybe I’ll call her Faith – She’s a substance of what I hoped for and it came to pass.
Maybe Mary, she will be a hand maiden of the Lord.
I don’t know but when I do get to meet her.
She’ll tell me her name herself.
I’ll be the happiest man on earth.
The three of us together, crying.
Look what we made hun. I'll laugh.
The beginning of a new chapter.
She’s my child and I’m her DADDY.
