The Difference Of The Road That Was Yours - 4 hours ago

“...and I took the one less traveled by,

and that has made all the difference.” – Robert Frost

That less traveled road is not glamorous AT ALL.

It looks like slow growth.

It looks like creating things people do not immediately understand.

It looks like building gradually while louder paths seem more rewarding.

Sometimes it can even feel absūrd.

You watch people take clearer routes with quicker applause, while your own path feels like your feet is the first to get dusty there.

It's experimental, uncertain, and heavily dependent on belief and vision to work out.

But crowded paths hardly demand originality, patience, or challenge you to think outside the box and build what does not already exist around you.

And by crowded I don't mean how many people in same line or thinking about same career path, because there's nothing you want to do that somebody else has not tried out before.

When I say 'crowded' I mean how many people willing to adopt a good strategy to stand out and persevere because recognition may not come quick.

I mean how many people willing to remain on that less traveled way because they'd be the first to ever discover a legacy there.

This path would sear your patience through fire, you'd rethink your choice more than you've thought about what to eat in a day.

But it keeps you original and true, this path would not drown you in the noise, this path is invention friendly and has longevity.

And that is the difference.

Not that the road was easier.

But that it was yours.
