When someone asks me “Why did God create darkness?”
I say “He didn't. He never did.”
It is true that He said “Let there be light” and there was light.
There was also day and night
Day represents light and night represents darkness
The day has the sun to light up the earth
Even in the dark, God made sure to put a moon and little stars to illuminate the earth
Even in the darkness, God makes sure that it is not complete, absolute darkness.
There is still light, though faint
And it brightens until the day comes
With its shining, blinding light.
