Report on pre-production to production stage
The Journey of FREEFALL: A Capstone Project
As I sat down to reflect on our experience with the FREEFALL production, I couldn't help but think about the countless hours, sweat, and tears that went into bringing this story to life. Our team, a group of dedicated and passionate individuals, came together to create a film that would resonate with audiences and spark important conversations.
The journey began with brainstorming sessions, where ideas flowed freely, and creativity knew no bounds. We had our fair share of lapses, but our collective passion and determination drove us forward. After much deliberation, we finally settled on a story that would analyze the life of a struggling student, a narrative that would touch hearts and minds.
As the location manager, I was tasked with scouting locations that would bring our story to life. It was a thrilling experience, searching for places that would add authenticity to our narrative. From bustling university campuses to quiet, introspective spots, each location played a vital role in shaping our story.
However, our journey was not without its challenges. Renting equipment proved to be a significant hurdle, as we faced a lack of funds and unresponsive authorities. But we didn't let that stop us. We rallied together, crowdfunding and taking on tasks ourselves to ensure that our vision became a reality.
The production stage was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, with its fair share of triumphs and setbacks. Our first shooting day was a learning experience, with challenges in arranging equipment and coordinating the cast. But we didn't give up. We regrouped, refocused, and worked tirelessly to ensure that our second attempt would be a success.
Throughout the production process, our goal remained clear: to encourage parents to be more concerned and supportive of their children's lives, especially in universities. We believe that our story will resonate with audiences, sparking important conversations and inspiring positive change.
As we look to the future, we're excited to share our story with the world. We've worked hard to create a film that will touch hearts, challenge perspectives, and inspire action. And as we anticipate the response from our target audience, we know that our journey has been worth it.
