LEIGH
You people want me to continue gisting you as I'm tied? Asin, you are not even thinking of giving me a little freedom to move my arms and legs as I talk?
She scoffs at herself and smiles a little. Yeah, for a slave she was crossing the line.
LEIGH (CONT'D)
Yeah, right sorry. I shouldn't be telling you what to do.
She takes her head down. The moment she does that, she feels something running from her nose. It was blood obviously, yet she still tries to feel it, but her hands were tied. Somebody was saying something, but she could not hear anything. Her breath starts seizing. Somebody was shaking her.
KEVIN
Hey. Hey!
Her head was hurting and she felt dizzy, but could not say anything.
KEVIN (CONT'D)
She's not saying anything.
LEIGH could hear the panick in his voice, but still could not say or do anything. Slowly, she found herself falling and then nothing else. Just darkness. She fainted.
INT. AMERICA. CONVENIENCE STORE - NIGHT
DAMON was sitting at the counter in the store when his phone rang. DAMON is an ex-convict who served time for killing the men who killed his wife and daughter. He was released a year ago and had opened a convenience store here were his wife loved. The store was 2 blocks away from LEIGH's house. He met LEIGH the first day they moved here and she was a happy kid. She made him smile everytime she came. The thing was, she is absolutely nothing like his daughter, so how he just got used to her was weird. His daughter was quiet, while LEIGH was every shade of noisy you can find. He picks the call.
DAMON
Hello? Any news?
It has been a week since LEIGH left and he was getting anxious.
