Episode 10

It's like every new day comes with it's own sad news. We just celebrated the previous day, and now, it's sorrow and tears everywhere. God will help us.

3 days later

My mom was discharged from the hospital, and we took her back home. All the while that she was in the hospital, my dad usually goes for business, but he sells little or nothing.

That night, I had a very bad dream, I dreamt that there was a coffin in our compound, and the whole neighbors were mourning, and this coffin was very small. As I woke up, I prayed and rejected it.

In my mom's absence, I usually go to my mom's shop to help her and sell, but the economy hasn't been smiling on me.

So, that particular day, I was just in my veranda reading my novel, and engaging the cool breeze, (my mom was better now, so she resumed her provision business), so, I was doing my thing, when someone walked into our compound, he said that my younger brother was involved in a fatal accident. At first, I didn't believe it, but I later came to terms with that fact.

I rushed with him to where my brother was, and we rushed him to the hospital immediately, it was an emergency case, so it's expected that they'll treat it with urgency, but the doctors and nurses said that they would not attend to him until we deposit #50,000, and at this point my mom was broke, and my dad's business was not doing well, I don't even know what we'll do now, but we must do something.
