My mother had a provision kiosk while growing up. It was one place I enjoyed doing my homework because I was being gifted with sweet and biscuits for being so passionate about my school work.

One Sunday evening, my mother sent me to Mama Sam's place to collect money.

On getting close to her compound, I heard people crying and sighing in and out of the compound.

This could only mean one thing…someone has just died. My suspicion was confirmed when I entered through the gate. Sam's Grandma just passed on.

I sympathized with them for a while and went home without delivering the message. And of cause I told my mother about it.

Emotional Intelligence is you knowing how to handle/manage emotions and reactions.

This is one thing that will give you access to people. You must learn how to chip into conversations, appropriately correct, and associate with people without making it obvious or provoking them.

A master at this game will earn the hearts of kings.
