Baby, I want you to leave but you stay
Jason couldn’t stop himself from stealing glances from the corner of his eye. Side eye. There was something fascinating about this particular girl that he could not put his finger on. Was it the way she stood on her own even when her colleagues were flaunting their “assets” at any flashy car that passed by? Perhaps it’s the nonchalant attitude she put up when he eventually called her to his car? It has to be the fact that she spoke “proper” English, and the softness of her voice. It’s a thirty-minute drive to the hotel and they should have arrived but this mystery lady prefers to spend the night at Jason’s place. Normally, that would be considered an outrageous request, Jason would even have concerns for his own safety but he’s caught in a trance, spelled by the beauty of the mystery lady. He describes it as beauty in his head, for lack of words but in essence, he is spelled by the entirety of her being.
Her lips called to him throughout the long drive and even when he had to focus on the road, her scent could make him lose control of the steering wheel. He was scared to look into her eyes because they looked like portals that would steal his soul, he already felt weak in the knees just by being near her, imagine if he actually stared into her eyes. When he placed his hands on her exposed thighs, they felt warm and when his hands travelled, with the intent to go deeper, he stole a quick glance at her and her face was… expressionless. She just sat there, cold, and mysterious. The tension was palpable and Jason had to stop the car at that spot.
Jason pounced on her like a wolf but she was not prey, she revealed her claws and canines, and engaged in a sensual battle with Jason. That expressionless face transformed to a blood-thirsty stare, like a vampire experiencing bloodlust. Jason pounced on this mystery girl with the intent to devour but she countered and it turned into an equally-matched wrestling match. After some minutes, Jason lifted his face from the pool of limitless possibilities and it seemed like the spell wore off for a while and he realized that he just had sex with a total stranger in his car because he could not control his passions for just under an hour. He immediately screamed, “Leave my car!” She smiled for the first time since he met her and calmly replied, “Do you really want me to leave?” and suddenly, the spell took effect all over again.
My brain and my heart ain’t the same…
Jason's brain would have ended his interaction with the mystery lady once she asked to go to his place instead of a hotel but his brain had been captured and his heart made all the decisions. Jason’s heart led him to be laid up in bed with a stranger he just met that night and he began to unlock a deeper level of intimacy, deeper than sex. He told her everything, his insecurities, his dreams, his passions, and his fantasies. He slept in her embrace that night and he felt safe, like he was with someone he had known his whole life. Before he dropped her off in the morning, he asked her, “Can I at least, know your name?” She smiled and replied, “It’s Serena”
Jason keeps having flashbacks of the previous night, in the car and in his bed. He drives over to the same spot from last night but he doesn’t see Serena. He begins to come to terms with the possibility that Serena may have been out of the ordinary. He drives away in confusion as “Lady of Namek” plays in his car speaker.
