Blessed with an unmatched grace and quality
Unique in her own creativity and abilities
Resilient and persevering, seeing through the dark clouds
Her carriage is stress-absorbing
She possesses the golden hands that has the final touch in the home
Her voice is commanding, yet soft and healing
Her personality and grace are envy-worthy and contagious
Her beauty is timeless
Her reverence for the Creator and love for spirituality has developed and formed me
She is a queen!
The mayoress of our lil' empire.
What more can I say of her, even much more?
But my voice fails me,
My speech wavers,
My words cannot just come out.
Is it just a personality type or a glitch?
I cannot say all these things to my mother
Not because she is undeserving,
Or at times, I get mad at her scoldings and corrections,
You may call me timid,
You may call me scared,
I may be none or both,
But I am not a professional at hollering encomiums at someone physically
I would rather pour out all the raw contents in my heart into a piece of writing
I would rather fix all the little pieces together and form them into notes
I find rest and home in writing
My pen is ever ready
I always win in the pen game
All these and much more are the things I cannot say to my mother physically, but through words.
Shout out to my mother and to all mothers on this great day!
Happy Mothers' day, to whom it may concern.
