100 level students of the faculty of communication and media studies in the University of Abuja were given a task to display different cultures in Nigeria. My department was ask to represent the Gbagyi culture. On that day other departments started showcased their own culture, when my department turn arrived, we started with oral presentations then two men dressed in Gbagyi clothes with bare chest and their body painted with ash and a piece of cloth tied around their waist arrived the stage holding guns. The women followed in Gbagyi wrappers and white T shirts dancing in Gbagyi to Gbagyi cultural music showcasing the Gbagyi culture. Everyone was cheering. We then served Gbagyi cultural food, took pictures and watched other departments showcase their culture.
