Most people will think that I venture into this tutoring career for money. But I guess you all know now that "it's just me fulfilling my purpose through a passion."
The day I was made to under that I was created for more, I took up that mindset without hesitation. I loved tutoring but I still went for a different course in school entirely.
While at my first workplace, I was drilled for 2 months. I bet you, that two months were like forever. The training didn't stop there. Every single day spent with those unique beings exposed me to a new level of training every single time.
Some taught me kindness, perseverance, flexibility, accountability, emotional intelligence, sacrifice, a life of gratitude, and understanding and some taught me how to be mean, harsh, wicked, and the list goes on and on.
Some of those lessons have I treasured and have been my guide for these past 10 years of tutoring and still counting.
My words for you are, to diversify your passion. Be humble in learning and above all love yourself so that you may love what you do.
Tutoring isn't a simple task so appreciate your kids' tutors/teachers. Respect them and above all show them kindness.
And if you wonder how we do it, I've got this for you. Divinity -God has been our helper.
Hot Seat ends today, hurry now and ask your questions!
