The director involved was not identified in the report and there was no independent response to the allegation.She further alleged that the director subsequently went to the producer and questioned her suitability for the role after she rejected him.

Funke said, “Shockingly, after I said no, the director went behind me to tell the producer that I wasn’t perfect for the role – just because I refused him.”The report also recalled similar accounts from actresses including Bimbo Ademoye and Yemi Alade, who have previously spoken about alleged attempts by industry figures to take advantage of them.
