The Armed Forces of Nigeria have issued a stern warning to looters exploiting the #EndBadGovernance protests, vowing to take action to prevent further destruction. At a press conference in Abuja on Friday, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa condemned the extensive damage caused during the first day of demonstrations, calling it "crazy."

General Musa emphasized that the military will not allow the looting and destruction to continue unchecked. He highlighted the efforts of the Bola Tinubu administration, which has been in power for one year, to improve economic conditions amidst global challenges.

Musa urged Nigerians to be patient and give the government time to address the economic crisis and high cost of living, noting that these issues are not unique to Nigeria but are part of a global trend. He called for understanding and warned against letting criminals exploit the situation to harm the country.

"We ask all Nigerians to understand the government's efforts. While grievances are valid, we must not let those with malicious intent destroy our country. The damage done requires funds to repair, which could be used for progress," General Musa said.
