Ruth Kadiri (born March 24, 1988) is a renowned Nigerian actress, screenwriter, and film producer known for her impactful contributions to Nollywood.
She was born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, and is the first of two children. Her father’s name is Desmond Kadiri.
For her education, Ruth studied Mass Communication at the University of Lagos and also obtained a degree in Business Administration from Yaba College of Technology.
Ruth began her Nollywood journey with the movie Boys Cot and has since featured in over fifty films.
Beyond acting, she has made a strong mark as a screenwriter, writing and co-writing movies such as Matters Arising, Heart of a Fighter, Ladies Men, Sincerity, First Class, and Over the Edge.
As a producer, Ruth Kadiri has been behind several notable projects including Matters Arising, Over the Edge, Somebody Lied, Memory Lane, Tripod, WET, Perfect Nobody, and Alaye.

In her personal life, Ruth Kadiri kept her relationship private until December 2017, when she announced her engagement. She later got married in a private ceremony and has maintained a low-key family life. She welcomed her first child on August 26, 2019, and her second child on July 20, 2022.
Over the years, her talent has earned her recognition, including winning Actress of the Year at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015 and Best Actress of the Year at the City People Movie Awards in 2018.
