I know you've failed that exam six times 

I know you were abandoned as a child 

I know you've never understood the pleasures of dining in a restaurant or wearing fancy clothes and shoes

I know anytime you go out you seem out of place

You probably keep getting rejected without a reason 

You are battling with issues to big for words

All your friends have deserted you 

You're at the verge of giving up

Last night you even cried, praying to God to let this cup pass away

You've eaten the bread of sorrow

You drunk the water of affliction 

No one seem to understand the magnitude of your pain

Words can't convey the extent to which you're suffering 

You've been seeking a job for 5 years and yet no hope of ever getting one 

The semester is almost over but your school fees hasn't been paid 

Things hasn't been good 

Things don't go as planned........…

Hear what the Bible says to you darling 

Job.14.7 - For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender shoots of it will not cease. [But there is no such hope for man.]

Job.14.8 - Though its roots grow old in the earth and its stock dies in the ground,

Job.14.9 - Yet through the scent [and breathing] of water [the stump of the tree] will bud and bring forth boughs like a young plant.

This is the voice of hope

Though the mountain looks immovable 

Though the problems seen insurmountable 

Though the future looks bleak

But at the scent of water it shall spring forth 😊
