@iNaijaNow claimed he was “whisked away” by officers, while 

@DAMIADENUGA described “unknown men” covering his face before driving off, sparking alarm. 

@NigeriaStories amplified the story, leaving followers and skeptics scrambling for answers.

The lack of clarity—were these police, hired enforcers, or a misunderstanding?—ignited fierce debate. VDM’s supporters, like 

@euchariaogonna, praised him as a “raw, unapologetic” force against corruption, arguing his boldness exposes systemic rot. His campaigns, often shared via viral videos, have long targeted fraud and injustice, earning him a loyal base. Critics, however, were less forgiving. 

@MobilePunch, referencing past controversies, branded him “notorious” for alleged slander and blackmail under the guise of activism. 

@JojoNitq_ acknowledged VDM’s intent to seek justice for his mother but criticized his aggressive tactics, urging a more procedural approach.

This wasn’t VDM’s first clash. A June 2024 post from @TrendingEx recalled his detention over a leaked court video, defying judicial orders. Another, from 

@Teeniiola in January 2025, described a feud where VDM was targeted after commenting on a woman’s mental health. These incidents painted him as a man perpetually at odds with authority, whether by choice or fate.
