Logline: A young man full of strength of vigour has a procastination habit. He watched his life slip away from his hold and regrets not taking action when he was able to.
Synopsis
Later is a symbolic short film that follows the life of Igbalaye. His life portrayed three stages of life — youth, middle age, and old age — all set within the same room. In the morning of his life, as a vibrant young man surrounded by opportunities and resources, he confidently postpones his responsibilities, believing he has plenty of time. By afternoon, now in middle age, he finds himself overwhelmed, struggling to complete accumulated tasks with fewer resources and growing pressure. As night falls, he appears as an old man, physically weak and burdened by unfinished dreams and wasted opportunities. When the clock strikes 11:59 PM, symbolizing the end of life, he is confronted with the painful realization that “Later” has cost him everything. The film serves as a visual metaphor for procrastination and the irreversible passage of time.
