The best part of being a Nigerian is the fun and funny experiences of childhood. 
The academic grind has forced me to look back on my childhood memories and long for the simplicity of childhood.
      It all started a few days ago after walking from my house to My department and back, only to return to an empty pot "Oh Chim!" What was I expecting when I left the house early with no one to cook for me? I trudged  my way to my bed feeling very tired . suddenly I remembered home and the joy of being a child— with no responsibilities , no worries. The pure happiness of coming home to a delicious, home-cooked  meal after a long day of play flooded my mind.
Thinking of play brought back memories of those joyful moments and fun events that made childhood worthwhile —like that moment when a kid shouts "form a big circle!" and we chorused " like our mother's cooking pot!"

Let's talk about some classic Nigerian games
—POLICE CATCH THIEF
Here different roles are written on paper( like farmer, police,thief etc) folded and thrown out for participants to pick. No one is expected to show the other what he or she picked except the police who comes out to guess who the thief is.

This game is called BOJU BOJU in Yoruba language.
A person has to count from 1-10 while others find a place to hide, the person who counts tries to find the rest
—WHO IS IN THE GARDEN
Anchor: who is in the garden
