I wasn't the best student, but i strived.
Working hard each day to reach that top, glamorous seat I look upon from below
The goal was simple, I didn't care about how much sleepless night I had to ride
Yes, it took me years to build but I did achieve that glow.
But sitting on the chair I once looked upon isn't that much appealing anymore becuse I have to stride not to slide.
The fear of failing those who now look upon me is what I feel the most.
And the simple drive to excel is getting drowned by thousands of expectations and my mind feels like it's been trapped by its host.
“She's a genius”
“She can't fail…”
I suddenly don't have the right to think the question is strenuous!!!
And anything outside study, I'll suddenly be seen as frail.
A helpless character that suddeny only has her pen as a weapon.
