A LITTLE FACT ABOUT HUMANS

Okay so today I'll be talking about people a bit, the calibers of humans in and around the world. It saddens my heart greatly to see how most of us humans don't invest much on our intellect; we prefer to keep spending our time on things that don't really add tremendous value in our lives. Someone says "insanity is doing the same thing, in the same way and expect a different kind of result" and to be quite frank, I've been insane for long — not anymore. I have made up my mind that I'm ready for a positive change, I'm ready to be tenacious, consistent, to sacrifice my time and comfort just to shape me into the better me.

A handful of us spend much time on social media than we read a novel or a book; not even to of the Holy Bible. We just comment on senseless posts and argue about things and people who don't really give a damn about us; if na wetin dey give you money, abeg nor stop oo.

Before I go further, I'd love to disclaim the notion that your mind is pondering on right now; I'm not imposing that you read, but for your own good please read.

Many people are hasty when it comes to free things; free money, free health care, free data, free WiFi and so on, but would rush to get a free book? Your answer may be yes, but are you willing to sacrifice your time to read the book? I'd let you answer that.

A wise man once said "a reader lives a thousand lives, but a non reader lives none". Ponder on it, I'm not saying a word about it.

When you read, you are unconsciously shaping your mind, thinking and your personality just to mention a bit. But then many people will tell you they fall asleep when they are reading, its ridiculous though or perhaps you don't really know the type of books that works for you. I also fall asleep when I'm reading a book this not for me.

Reading is where I find calmness, life, modifies my language and writing skills; and for a long time I've slagged,  now I'm back from where I was to where I want to be. Reading has even made me a different person than my peers and I love that because it sets me on an edge ahead of them.

Young people, I recommend that you start reading as often as possible; even if its ten minutes a day, you will inconspicuously feel changes in you.
