From the earliest rhythms of ancient drums to the complex symphonies of today, music has always been a powerful tool for expression. Musicians use their craft to preach, tell stories, and inspire change—whether it's through soulful ballads about love and loss, hip hop tracks that confront social issues, or dance beats that bring joy to the masses

From the earliest rhythms of ancient drums to the complex symphonies of today, music has always been a powerful force in shaping culture and telling stories. I've always had a deep love for foreign music, not that I don't enjoy Nigerian beats—I do. But there's something about the words in foreign songs that resonates with me, something deeper.

These lyrics often address the struggles of life, from crime to the desire to make the world a better place. They tell stories of personal growth, social justice, and hope. Sometimes, I lose myself in the slow, calm melodies that speak to the soul, while other times, I need the energy of hip hop or the pulse of a danceable beat. That’s when Nigerian music steps in, with its infectious rhythms and powerful energy.

For me, music is more than just sound—it's a narrative, a way to connect with experiences beyond my own. It's how artists preach, tell stories, and inspire us to reflect on the world around us. And whether it's through the soothing tones of a ballad or the high-energy beats of a dance track, music continues to be the universal language that speaks to all of us.
