Reverend James had always been a devoted shepherd to his flock. He knew each member by name and cared deeply for their well-being. So when he received a distress call from one of his members, Emily, he didn't hesitate to act.

Emily was trapped in her flooded home, and the waters were rising fast. Reverend James knew he had to act quickly to save her. Without hesitation, he grabbed a rope and set out into the raging waters.

As he swam through the torrent, the currents buffeted him about, threatening to pull him under. But he pressed on, his eyes fixed on Emily's house. Finally, he reached the door and tied the rope around the frame, creating a lifeline for Emily to cling to.

With his own strength waning, Reverend James helped Emily onto the rope, and together they began to make their way to safety. Just as they reached the shore, a massive wave crashed down, sweeping Reverend James away.

Emily was left clinging to the rope, screaming for her beloved preacher. Miraculously, Reverend James resurfaced, gasping for air, and pulled himself back onto the shore.

Exhausted and shivering, he wrapped his arms around Emily, holding her tight. "You're safe now, child," he whispered. "You're safe."
