There are some beans that only exist just to test your patience and long-suffering. That kind of beans that make you feel as though they're from the lineage of Pharaoh the hardened one; so stubborn and unyielding to fire. You have to cook it for ages before it softens.

I started cooking this beans before my neighbour went to the market to get things for soup. Now my neighbour has finished cooking but my beans is nowhere near done. And my neighbour, being the sweet soul that she is, has fetched of the soup she made for me to do eba to eat with. At this point I just have to set my priorities straight; I love beans, y'all know I do but I just had to put the beans aside and make eba, because first thing's first and my stomach needs compensation.

Now that I am done eating this soup it feels as if this beans just activated another level of hardness (abi the beans dey vex say I leave am go make eba before ne?😭). Some beans are evil wallahi 😩. But I love the beans like that, so I'll wait for it to cook 🥺

MORAL LESSONS:
"Say your Indomie quick cook no mean say those wey dey cook beans dey lazy." It's a common adage in pidgin which we just say in passing and sometimes for cruise but there can be a deeper meaning to it if we look at it carefully.

While you wait for your beans to cook, do not look at another man's Indomie or pot of soup with envy. Just thank God your pot is not empty, at least you have something cooking too🥰. If they offer you a portion of their soup/Indomie, collect with joy but don't throw your beans away. E get why...
IF YOU BELIEVE IN A DREAM/VISION YOU WILL WAIT, NO MATTER THE DELAY.

If you claim to love something or someone, your patience will be tested to prove your love for that thing. You may invest a lot of time and energy towards that thing or person and almost immediately start expecting returns or dividends of your investment but the disappointment that may follow could make you think twice about your love journey.

You see the way I chose to still wait on my beans to cook after all the shege it put me through; IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE/SOMETHING YOU WILL WAIT.
